Hornblower, William Henry, D.D.

a Presbyterian minister, was born at Newark, N.J., March 21, 1820. He graduated from Princeton College in 1838; studied law one year; graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1842; became a missionary to "the Pines" in 1843; was ordained pastor at Paterson in 1844, and labored there with great success and usefulness until 1877, when he was elected by the General Assembly professor of homiletics, pastoral theology, sacred rhetoric, and Church government in the Western Theological Seminary, Allegheny City, Pa.
