Heusinger, Johann Michael

Heusinger, Johann Michael a celebrated German divine, was born in September 1690, at Sunderhausen, in Thuringia, and was educated at Gotha, at Halle, and at Jena. He was appointed a professor at Gotha in 1730, and remained there until 1738. He died in March, 1751, leaving many historical works. See Chalmers, Biog, Dict. s.v.
