Hasupha

Hasu'pha (Heb. Chasupha', חֲשׂוּפָא, uncovered; 'Sept. Α᾿σουφά, Α᾿σειφά; Vulg. Harupha), one of the Nethinim whose descendants returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel (Ezr 2:43; Ne 7:46, in which latter passage the name is less correctly Anglicized "Hashpha"). B.C. ante 536.
