Hartzheim, Caspar a German theologian, was born at Cologne in 1678.. He belonged to a distinguished family, entered the Jesuit order at Treves in 1698, and taught rhetoric, philosophy, and theology successively at Treves, Paderborn, Cologne, and other places.
