Grimaldi, Giuseppe Maria

Grimaldi, Giuseppe Maria an Italian prelate, was born at Moncalieri (Piedmont), January 3, 1754. He studied at Turin, entered the ministry, and was received as doctor of theology in the university at Turin, afterwards went to Verceil, in 1779, and was appointed canon of the cathedral there in 1782. In 1811 he assisted at the Council at Paris, and took part in the commission appointed to revise the response to the emperor. He died January 1, 1830. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
