Greenlaw, Gilbert

Greenlaw, Gilbert a Scotch prelate, was promoted to the see of Aberdeen in 1390, and was made chancellor of the kingdom in 1396. In 1423 this bishop was sent on an embassy to Charles VII, king of France by Robert, duke of Albany. He died in 1424. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 28-112.
