Grant (or Graunt), Edward, D.D.

an eminent English scholar of the 16th century, was educated at Westminster School and Christchurch, or at Broadgates Hall, Oxford. In 1572 he was made master of Westminster School, where he continued until 1591. He was prebend of Westminster in 1577, of Ely in 1589, and died in September or October 1601.
