Gordon, John (1)

a Scotch prelate, was made bishop of Galloway Februray 4, 1688,. and consecrated at Glasgow. After the revolution he followed King James to Ireland, and then to France, and while at St. Germain's read the liturgy of the Church of England to all Protestants who came to hear.
