Goldsmith, John, D.D.

a Presbyterian minister, was born at Riverhead, N.Y., April 10, 1794. He graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1815, and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1819; was ordained a minister by the Presbytery of New York, November 17, the same year; preached at Newtown, L.I., thereafter until his death, April 6, 1854.
