Fuga, Ferdinando

Fuga, Ferdinando an eminent Italian architect, was born at Florence in 1699, and studied under Gio. Battista Fugini. In 1725 he was sent to Naples by cardinal Giudire, to erect a chapel in his palace. He also erected the Church della Morte, in the Strada Giulia. He died at Florence, February 7, 1782. See Biog.
