Foix, Paul De

Foix, Paul de a French prelate, was born in 1528; became first a magistrate, and was engaged in royal commissions; but in 1576 was made archbishop of Toulouse, and in 1579 went as ambassador to Rome, where he died about the end of May 1584. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
