Ephrem, Patriarch of Armenia

Ephrem, Patriarch Of Armenia was born at Sis in 1734. The objects of his study were poetry, eloquence, theology, history, and chronology. The pope appointed him bishop in partibus, on account of his talent and of the influence which he possessed with the united Armenians.
