Elishu'a (Hebrew id. אלִֵישׁוּ , God is his salvations, Sept. Ε᾿λισουέ v.r. Ε᾿λισαύ and Ε᾿λισά, Vulg. Elisua), one of the sons of David, born at Jerusalem (2Sa 5:15; 1Ch 14:5); called ELISHAMA SEE ELISHAMA (q.v.) in the parallel passage (1Ch 3:6). B.C. post 1044.
