Eliezer Ben-isaac of Worms

Eliezer Ben-Isaac of Worms who flourished in the 11th century, is the author of an ascetic work entitled, ארחות חיי, also called צואת ר8 אליעזר הגדול, The Testament of Rabbi Eliezer the Great. It was edited by Chajim Cesarini, Constantinople, 1519, and often since. In a Judaeo-German translation it was published at Amsterdam in 1649. See Furst, Bibl. Jud. 1:233. (B.P.)
