E'des (rather Edais, ᾿Ηδαϊvς, Vulg. Esmi), one of the "sons of Ethma," who had married foreign wives after the captivity (1 Esdr. 9:35); evidently the Jadau (q.v.) of the Hebrews list (Ezr 10:43).
