Diana, Benedetto

Diana, Benedetto an eminent Venetian painter, flourished in the latter part of the 15th and first part of the 16th century. He excelled in architectural pieces, and found considerable employment in the churches of his native city. Some of his pictures are much admired, particularly his altar-piece of St. Lucia, in the Church of the Apostoli.
