Davis, Henry M.

a Protestant Episcopal clergyman, was employed as a missionary at Islip, N.Y., in 1853; in 1857 became rector of St. John's Church, in that place; in 1861 rector of the Church of Charity Foundation, Brooklyn; in 1864 missionary at St. Paul's Church, Salem, N.Y., of which subsequently, in 1872, he became rector, and so remained until his death, September 29, 1875, at the age of sixty-six years.
