Davis, Absalom L.

a minister in the Methodist, Episcopal Church South, was born in Tennessee, May 10, 1812. In early life he removed to Indiana, where he was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1864 he joined the Methodist Episcopal Church South, in Illinois, and in 1867 became a member of its Illinois Conference. He died at De Soto, Illinois, April 20, 1882.
