David, Claude

David, Claude a French Benedictine of the society of St. Maur, was born at Dijon in 1644, and died November 6, 1705. He composed several works on the subject of ecclesiastical scholarship, one only of which has been printed: Dissertation sur Saint Denys l'Aropagite. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
