Cupe, Pierre a French theologian, who lived in the latter half of the 18th century, was rector of Bois, in the diocese of Saintes, and wrote Le Ciel Ouvert a Tons les Hommes (1768), a work reputed to be profane. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
