Cruithnechan

Cruithnechan (otherwise called Caritanus, by way of diminutive), an Irish saint, commemorated March 7, flourished about the beginning of the 6th century. He was the son of Cellachan, and, after marrying and having children, renounced the world, with his three daughters. He baptized St. Columba in the Church of Tulach-Dubglaise (now Temple-Douglas, in Donegal).
