Crowley, Ann

Crowley, Ann an English minister of the Society of Friends, was born at Shillingford, Oxfordshire, in 1765. She was converted at sixteen, and at twenty-six "first came forth as a minister." In 1796 she removed to Uxbridge, and labored in that vicinity until her death, April 10, 1826. See Piety Promoted, 4:289. (J.C.S.)
