Crossman, Samuel

Crossman, Samuel an English clergyman and poet, was born at Bradley, Suffolk, in 1824; became prebendary of the first stall at Bristol in 1667, dean in 1683, and died February 4, 1684. Besides Sermons, he published The Young Man's Meditations (1664, 1863), which contains several popular hymns.
