Crisp, Alfred

Crisp, Alfred an English Congregational minister, was born at Leeds, October 2, 1809. He was converted in early manhood, ordained to the ministry in London in 1850, and continued to labor at home and in the surrounding villages until 1853, when he became pastor at Alfreton, Derbyshire. He removed, in 1857, to the Channel Islands, first to Jersey, and afterwards to Guernsey, where he remained until his death, April 24, 1867. See (Lond.) Cong. Year-book, 1868, page 265.
