Crawford, Gilbert

Crawford, Gilbert a Presbyterian minister, was born in Scotland. He studied at Princeton Theological Seminary one year (1821); was licensed by the Presbytery of New Brunswick in 1822; subsequently ordained, and served as supply at Le Roy, N.Y., and as pastor at Buffalo from 1827 to 1829; supply at Le Roy again in 1830, at Albion in 1833, and pastor soon after until 1835; supply of the First Church at Lockport for two years; went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, back again to New York, and preached at Albion, Boone Centre, and Le Roy up to 1846.
