Cotereau (or Cottereau), Claude

Cotereau (or Cottereau), Claude a French ecclesiastic, was born at Tours in the 16th century. He entered holy orders, and became canon of Notre Dame at Paris, where he died about 1560. He was learned in philology and canon law, and left several minor treatises, for which see Biog. Universelle, s.v.
