Cornell, William, D.D.

a minister of the Reformed (Dutch) Church, was born in Seneca County, N.Y., in 1834. He graduated from Rutgers College in 1859, and from the New Brunswick Seminary in 1862; was licensed by the classis of Geneva the same year, and became pastor at Minisink, Sussex County, N.J.; teacher at Freehold, in 1863; pastor at Woodstown Presbyterian Church, in 1864; teacher at Somerville, in 1868, and died there September 11, 1876.
