Cornelius, William Huff

Cornelius, William Huff a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Clark County, Indiana, April 4, 1819. He removed with his parents in early life to Kentucky, where he was converted, joined the Church, and was licensed to preach in 1846. He was received on trial in the Indiana Conference in 1849, and subsequently served the following charges: Fredericksburg, Hellowville, Leesville, Springville, Bloomfield, Sullivan, Mount Vernon, Cannelton, Corydon, Paoli, Ellettsville, Putnamville, Gosport, Linton, Harrodsburg, Graysville, Bruceville, and Hymera. He was superannuated in 1880, and removed to his farm near Lintonl, where he died, July 31, 1882. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1882, page 308.
