Corey, David

Corey, David a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in 1797. He was converted in 1814; soon after began preaching in northern Vermont; located, and engaged in farming; moved to central New York, joined the Oneida Conference, and, after three years labor, went west and entered the Illinois Conference. He became a superannuate, and died August 23, 1844. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1845, page 585.
