Cooper, J.T., D.D.

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Dover, Delaware, March 16, 1806. He was converted when about twenty-three years old, entered the Philadelphia Conference in 1834, and in it occupied important stations until the failure of his health, in 1851, after which he labored occasionally, chiefly in the Wilmington Conference, until his death, April 12, 1884.
