Cook, John (3)

a Scotch clergyman, was born November 24, 1771. He took his degree at the University of St. Andrews in 1788; was licensed to preach in 1792; appointed minister at Kilmany in 1793, and ordained; appointed professor of Hebrew at St. Mary's College, St. Andrews, and resigned in 1802.
