Coli, Giovanni

Coli, Giovanni an Italian painter, was born at Lucca in 1634, and studied under Pietro da Cortona. Some of his works are in the churches of Rome. The most celebrated were the frescos in the tribune of the Church of San Martino, in Lucca. The whole cloister of the monastery of the Carmelites was painted by him. He died in 1681.
