Cola, Gennaro Di

Cola, Gennaro Di an old Neapolitan painter, was born in 1320, and studied under Maestro Simone. The principal works of this artist are the altar-piece in Santa Maria, Naples, representing the Virgin and Dead Christ, with angels holding the instruments of the passion; A Magdalene in the chapel of the same church; — The Nativity and The Annunciation, in the tribune of San Giovanni.
