Coate, Michael

Coate, Michael a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Burlington, N.J., in 1767. He was converted in 1794; served the Church as an exhorter and local preacher, and in 1795 became a member of the New York Conference. He died a member of the Philadelphia Conference, August 1, 1814.
