Clodius, Johann Christian

Clodius, Johann Christian, a German linguist, son of Johann, and professor of Arabic at Leipsic, where he died, Jan. 23, 1745, is the author of Lexicon, Hebraicum Selectum, etc. (Leips. 1744): — Liturgiae Syriacae Septimamae Passionis (ibid. 1720): — De usu Linguae Arabicae in Exegesi Sacra; and many other works.
