Cleft (בּקַיעִ, beki'a, a gap in a building, Am 6:11; "breach," Isa 22:9; שֶׁסע, she'sa, a split in the hoof of an animal, De 14:6; also נקָרָה, nekarah', a fissure in a rock, Isa 2:21; חֲגָוַים, chagavim', refuges in the crags, Song 2:14; Jer 49:16; Ob 1:3), or CLIFT (נקָרָה, nekariah' crevice in a rock, Ex 33:22; סעַיŠ, seiph', a rock fissure, Isa 57:5; "top" of the rock, Jg 15:8,11; Isa 2:21).
