Clason, James (1)

Clason, James (1), a Scotch clergyman, son of the minister of Dalziel, was licensed to preach in 1808, and presented to the living at Dalziel the same year; he joined the Free Secession in 1843, and died suddenly April 16, 1852, aged sixty-eight years. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticance, ii, 283. .
