Clark, Jacob Lyman, Dd

Clark, Jacob Lyman, D.D., a Protestant Episcopal clergyman, was born in 1807. He graduated from Trinity College in 1831, was ordained deacon in 1835. and was rector of St. John's Church, Waterbury, Conn., from 1837 until. his death, Jan. 25, 1877. He was a member of the standing committee for twenty-three years, and declined an election to the episcopate of Nebraska and the North-west in 1859. See Prot. Episc. Almanac, 1878,:p. 1.68.
