Chouet, Jacques

Chouet, Jacques a French Protestant theologian, was born in 1550 in the neighborhood of Auxerre. He left the Catholic Church and went to Geneva. He wrote, Observations Apologiques, against Scaliger (Geneva): — Doctrine Ancienne, against the same (ibid. 1593, 8vo): — De la Predestinationa (Basle, 1599, 1606, 8vo): — De la Conference Tenue a Nancy (ibid. 1600, 8vo).
