Chisholm, Thomas a Scotch clergyman, was born December 14, 1680; licensed to preach in 1709, and called to the living at Kilmorich in 1710. His ordination was fixed for a day in 1711, but was postponed on account of a disturbance by a rabble of Roman Catholics. He died January 6, 1768, aged eighty-seven years. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 3:298.
