Cheyne, William (3), A.M., a Scotch clergyman, took his degree at King's College, Aberdeen, in 1677; was licensed to preach in 1683, and presented to the living at Carmichael in 1685, but died the-month after his admission to the benefice. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticana, ii, 314.
