Chase, E B

Chase, E. B., a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Dixumont, Me., April 3,1806. He removed with his parents to Ohio in 1819; was converted at sixteen; soon afterwards became an exhorter and local preacher; and in 1830 entered the Ohio Conference. In its active ranks he 'labored until his death, March 4, 1852. Mr. Chase was a plain, practical, and useful preacher. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1852, p. 151.
