Chaffee, Chester

Chaffee, Chester a Free-will Baptist minister, was born at Grafton, Vt., in 1791. He united with the Church in 1815, began his ministry in 1830, and was ordained in 1832. After having lived many years in Boston, N.Y., he removed to Arcade, Wyoming County, in 1850, where he thenceforth resided, adorning his profession as a Christian and his vocation as a minister.
