Cattanio, Costanzo

Cattanio, Costanzo an Italian painter, was born at Ferrara in the year 1602, and studied under Scarsellino, and afterwards under Guido, at Bologna. His Ecce Homo, and The Flagellation, in Sail Giorgio at Ferrara, have been much admired; also his picture of Christ Praying on the Mount, in San Benedetto, and his Annunciation, in Spirito Santo. He died in 1665.
