Cash, Thomas

Cash, Thomas an English minister of the Society of Friends, was born at Alderley, Nov. 13, 1739. He was converted in his twenty-fourth year, and when thirty-two years of age felt himself called of God into the ministry. He traveled through Great Britain, appointing meetings for all who desired to hear tile gospel. Having in his secular business acquired a competency, he gave his entire attention to the ministerial work. He died Jan. 16, 1809. See Piety Promoted, 3, 409-413. (J. C. S.)
