Burrows, Walter a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Elizabeth, N. J., April 19, 1790. He was led to Christ in early manhood, through the labors of a pious sister; and in 1816 entered the Philadelphia Conference. He labored faithfully and zealously until 1853, when he was granted a supernumerary relation, which he held during life, though he continued to labor as health permitted in connection with the New Jersey and Newark Conferences. He died at Baskingridge, March 4, 1869. As a Christian, Mr. Burrows was joyous in his experience. As a minister, he was judicious, practical, and highly respected.
