Bull, Thomas Palmer

Bull, Thomas Palmer an English Congregational minister, was born July 15, 1772, at Newport Pagnel, where he also labored until his death, March 17, 1859. He was carefully trained and educated by his father, Rev. William Bull, joined the Church, and eventually became joint-tutor in the Academy and copastor in the ministry with his father, and finally, sole pastor. As a preacher Mr. Bull's characteristics were simplicity, 'affection, earnestness, and pathos; as a teacher he was very learned and devoted. See (Lond.) Cong. Year-book, 1860, p. 179.
