Brice (Lat Brixius), Germain

Brice (Lat. Brixius), Germain a French theologian, native of Auxerre, entered the ecclesiastical career, was almoner of the king, and canon of the cathedral of Paris. He died in the diocese of Chartres in 1538. Besides some small works, he wrote, Germani Brixii Carmina (1519): — Dialogus de Episcopatu et Sacerdotio (1526). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
