Braman, Isaac

Braman, Isaac a Congregational minister, was born at Norton, Massachusetts, July 5, 1770. He graduated at Harvard with high honors in 1794, and was ordained over the Church at Georgetown, Massachusetts, 1787, where he continued the remainder of his life, a pastorate of more than sixty-one years. He died December 26, 1858. "He possessed great originality, and his sermons evinced deep thought." See Cong. Quarterly, 1859, page 223.
