Boyd, Alexander (1)

Boyd, Alexander (1), a Presbyterian minister, studied theology at the university of Glasgow, and came to America in 1748. He was licensed by the Boston Presbytery, and in 1749 accepted a call to the Presbyterian Church at Georgetown, Me. We find no trace of him after 1758. See Sprague, Annals of the Amer.
